Relaxation Meditation

 

Find a comfortable position

Place your feet firmly on the floor and let your mind clear

As you focus on the steady rise and fall of your chest

Taking deep in-breaths and exhaling slowly

A halo of golden light is forming above your crown and is gently seeping into your aura

Allow this energy to fall around you and with each breath inwards you draw in more of this light

And as you breathe out you release any tensions the day may have brought to you

Visualize your out breath turning red as the tension leaves your body

And continue to take in more light until your out-breaths turn pink

And then white …

Until you are at one with the light and it is flowing through your body

You are now relaxed and only aware of the gentle sound of your breathing

Visualize the light now entering your body through the crown

Healing your tired mind and regenerating the cells

Moving slowly down into your brow

Extending your inner vision and bringing answers to your questions

Pose your questions to your higher self – your inner being

And trust that over the next day or so they will be answered

In the form of slow realizations

Allow the light to move down into your throat centre

Soothing and relaxing the muscles of the neck

At each stage it is healing every cell and filling them with light

Down to the shoulders and into your arms

Until every muscle is relaxed and energised by the light

Now into your heart, releasing the energy in your heart centre

A loving and gentle energy

Healing your heart and filling your lungs with the light

Taking this love for yourself to all parts of your body

You are feeling a deep inner peace and your body is responding

The light is now flowing down your spine relaxing every muscle

As it enters your abdomen and radiates its healing light

Healing each organ as it flows slowly down and into your legs

Filling them with light and refreshing each tired muscle

Until it reaches your feet and beyond

Feel the energy flowing into your aura

Circulating around your body and into the skin

Every pore in your body is taking in this healing light

And every muscle is relaxed

Now its time to return to your normal awareness

Slowly become aware of the gentle pattern of your breathing

Feel your feet firmly on the ground

 

You should be relaxed and feeling calm – the purpose of this meditation is to allow the light to heal your body and your mind. If you practice this meditation regularly you will find that your ability to handle stress and your day to day life will show vast improvements.
