Chakra Visualization

 

 

Relax your mind and your body

As you become aware of the gentle rising and falling of your chest

Breathe in slowly and deeply

Letting the breath flow deep into the abdomen

As you breathe out imagine now that your stresses and strains of the day are leaving your body with a gentle red hue

And as you breathe in you take in wonderful white healing light which soothes your body and your mind

Make the light now your focus as you breathe out more the red light begins to turn pink

Until finally you are breathing out white light and you are truly relaxed

We are going now on a short journey so visualise standing up from your chair

And walk down the pathway of light which is now in front of you

You find you are at the top of a beautiful valley

The air is pure and clear and the light which lead you here is the light of the distant sun

Take a few moments now to look out across the valley

You see lush greenery wherever you rest your eyes

And the skies are so blue and clear with only the occasional cloud

There is a path which leads down into the valley its a little steep and you have to concentrate your steps – but it is safe

Down the sides of the valley grow wonderful flowers; they seem to line your route as if they were laid out especially for you

Sheep graze quietly on the hillsides and stone walls break up the vast expanses of greenery

You can hear the birds calling to each other their song is sweet

And in the bottom of the valley you can’t yet see it but you can hear the gentle sound of a river flowing fast

As you look down towards the bottom of the valley you notice something very special

A rainbow of light forms a bridge over river and you now quicken your step to reach the bridge

Its soft hues seem to mesmerise you and you are invited to step onto the bridge

As you do you become aware that the colours from the rainbow and the energy they hold are now entering your energy field

They will cleanse and balance your body and your charkas

Stand on the bridge the feeling is so wonderful you have no desire to move

The colour red comes to you and seeps through into your root charka

Here the very life essence of you is governed

Affirm your connection to mother earth and the love of all she brings to us

It brings energy to you and you see the energy centre at the base of your spine now opening like a beautiful red jewelled rose

Now as the energy rises further up your body feel the colour orange coming to you rising up into your sacral charka just below your naval

Here your passion for life lays dormant waiting for you to open it and appreciate the essence of creation

You feel joy coming to you and you feel you would like to dance

If you want to dance you can dance here no one is watching you and you can do whatever you like

Your sacral charka opens before you like a wonderful jewelled orange flower

Now the energy rises to your solar plexus in the centre of your abdomen

Your mind is now open and your thoughts can expand

Any worries you may be carrying with you and any thoughts which may be restrictive to your life can now leave you

You feel energised and you know who you are and what you are striving for

See now your solar plexus open like a beautiful golden yellow jewelled flower

The green energy contained in the rainbow rises to your heart centre

The centre of love and harmony and balance in your life

You can heal your tired body and bring yourself to face the negative issues and turn them to positive results

You feel the love within you extend from your heart centre, a love for all mankind

And your heart centre opens like a splendid green jewel

As the energy rises to the throat chakra you feel now your centre of communication open

And a wave of blue sweeps over you

You are inspired by the tranquillity around you and peace descends upon you

Your throat centre opens like a wonderful pale blue flower with a glowing gemstone at its centre

Now as the rainbow energies change to deep purple feel it rise to your third eye, in the brow area between your eyes

Here your psychic energies are contained and your ability to feel inspired is awakened

Take in the purple light and let it bring whatever insights it has for you as your brow now opens like a disc of spinning light

Now the cerise/magenta energy from the rainbow rises to the crown centre at the very top of your head

You are able now to let go of any thoughts which were remained with you restricting your growth and your progress

Thoughts which weren’t right for you now leave your head and you feel enlightened and happy

Your crown is like a beautiful opened fuchsia absorbing the warmth of the sun and the summer’s day

Take a few slow and deep breaths now as you regain your balance

The journey back is quick and effortless

Breathe in the fresh air around you and feel yourself grounding back to the physical body

You feel your feet firmly on the ground as you take a few deep breaths to bring you back along the pathway of light which brought you here

The energies have returned to your normal environment but you bring back with you all the rainbow brought to you as your body now awakes
